H/D Art: Something Unexpected (PG-13)

Title: Something Unexpected
Pairing: Harry/Draco
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Don't own the boys, JKR does. I'm just bringing the subtext to life. Heh.

Summary: A moment between the boys during the Fiendfyre scene. (DH spoilers!)

A/N: This is a slightly belated birthday gift for

sesheta_66 and a very belated birthday gift for

alaana_fair. Hope you gals don't mind sharing and the lateness, but this way your birthdays go on and on… :D *snuggles* ♥

I love it, hon!!! The uncertainty in Draco's eyes is palpable. Oh, and his arm! *cuddles him* And Harry looks so very confident! Just beautiful!

I was sort of going for an uncertain Harry too (when their eyes suddenly meet and all that), but I guess he was the more confidant there.

Oh, I missed this before. Love the coloring, and the look in Draco's eyes shows so much emotion---worry, realization, a bit of awe (obviously because he's so close to Harry) maybe confusion (again, because he's so close to Harry) and even embarrassment. Lovely pic, wonderful take on my favorite moment from DH.
